Kwai, Kwai Everyone,

Looks like we have some exciting news for you. We are trying to organize a Burn out / dug out canoe project for this summer. With the Supervision of Dan Sheer we are hoping to do the first of 2 projects in Swanton, the home of the Missisquoi Abenaki Nation.

Chief Brenda Gagne of the MIssisquoi Abenaki Nation and Chief Don Stevens of the Nulhegan Band of The Coosuk Abenaki Nation will be working with Alnobaiwi on this project. We hope to get some cross postings as the project starts to take shape.

This project shows what can be accomplished by the Vermont Abenaki when a spirit of unity and cooperation are involved.
