Brain tanning & corn husk dolls

On October 31, 2020, Linda and Roger Longtoe Sheehan visited us to share a meal and teach us about the traditional method of brain tanning deer hide. We are now ready to collect the tools and build the necessary structures.

We were also fortunate enough to have Linda show us how to construct corn husk dolls using the husks from our harvest. It was a wonderful afternoon outside with friends (mask and distancing guidelines were followed.)
